To unlock redmi note 8t (willow)
1. Go 9008 (testpoint)
2. Press unlock bl
3. Restart your phone with volume down to goin fastboot
4. Press unlock bl in unlocktool (fastboot option)
5. Restart phone with volume down check bl status (fastboot option)
6. If bl unlocked download firmware to phone
7. This method worked to me sorry for my bad english.

I know the method, I'd attached the video of the procedure. The problem is that in V12.5.2 it doesn't work. I'd done it before with older versions.
I don't have the phone anymore.

after Unlock bootloader via edl you need try Unlock bootloader with fastboot again
