QUESTION Question regardin MTK flashing

Hello to everyone here, when I use SP Flash Tool for flashing Mediatek phones I can see there are three options for flashing operations: Download only, Firmware Upgrade, Format All + Download. When I use UnlockTool I can see there's an option called "repartition", If I tick that box, will it be the same as flashing a phone via firmware upgrade method with SP Flash Tool ? Can someone help me clarify this? Most Mediatek phones are easy to brick so I try to be careful when performing flashing in any of those phones. Thanks in advance for any ideas or comments.
